So how did Creftwyr Cymru come about?

In 2012 some of us met at a small craftfair in West Wales and talked about the isolation some of us felt. How we sometimes wondered if there was anyone near us who fancied sharing their craft or would like to get together to share ideas and expertise. We talked about the problem of finding selling venues and connecting with the organisers of craftfairs. 

Having experienced the rejection of other craft organisations we felt that setting up our own support group where we could address all the above would be a solution.

​The first step was a FaceBook group and  that has gone from strength to strength.  So to take this further the Creftwyr Cymru - Welsh Crafters Magazine was started.
